The non-profit Carolina American Dream Homes (CAD Homes) is focused on making the world a better place, beginning by improving the lives of families in our local communities and across the country.

With a deep commitment to family and community, understanding and supporting the need for sustainable green-energy affordable homes, CAD Homes is focused on innovation to create rural smart communities, where “every day, in everything we do, we’ll strive to make a difference.”

CAD Homes Will:

  • Support unique RX5 Cybersecurity-Electric Grid Workforce Training at James Sprunt Community College, as well as K-12 STEM local youth education programs.

  • Create 20+ new jobs for Warsaw, NC families.

  • Will create new energy efficient workforce housing for economically disadvantaged families.

After supporting past natural disasters recoveries, emergency COVID-19 pandemic food distribution, and support of America’s urgent demand for cybersecurity and electric grid workforce, CAD Homes will provide economic disadvantaged families the American Dream of owning a home.

CAD Homes Community Benefits Plans

  • Create good-paying jobs to attract and retain skilled workers.

  • Equitable access to wealth-building opportunities (access to good jobs, business, and contracting opportunities.)

  • Meet or exceed the objectives of the Justice 40 initiative that 40% of benefits accrue to disadvantaged communities.

  • Meaningful engagement with community and labor partners leading to formal agreements with accountability to affected stakeholders.
